Denmark League Prediction – Danish Superliga (October 2026)

Current title prediction: FC Midtjylland are the favourites to win the 2026/27 Danish Superliga, with FC København the main challengers. This is the full top half of the official table after round 12. Form shows each team’s win-draw-loss record.

4FC Nordsjælland1220+45-5-2
5Brøndby IF1219+16-1-5
6AC Horsens1216+34-4-4

Title prediction block:

  • 1. FC Midtjylland: league leaders, unbeaten, and Friday Etim has seven league goals.
  • 2. FC København: best attack (26 scored) and joint-best defence (12 conceded, level with Viborg).
  • 3. Outsiders: Viborg, Nordsjælland and Brøndby, all within nine points of top.

Key outlook notes:

  • Midtjylland are the only unbeaten side, but they have conceded 13 goals, more than København or Viborg.
  • Nordsjælland have drawn five of 12, so they are hard to beat but slow to climb.
  • Lyngby (1 win) and SønderjyskE (29 conceded, the most in the league) face the highest relegation risk.

Information updated 29 October 2026 after round 12, based on the official 3F Superliga standings published by TV 2 Sport.

Our view is simple. Midtjylland’s 12 games without defeat give them the edge, but København have the stronger underlying numbers, and a two-point gap is nothing with the split still to come. The 12-team league plays 22 rounds before it divides into a championship group and a relegation group for the last ten games, so points won now set up the run-in rather than decide it. We rate it a two-horse race, with Midtjylland slightly ahead.

The six games in detail

Lyngby v Randers opens the round on Friday and is the closest thing to a relegation six-pointer this early. Lyngby took Midtjylland close in a 3–2 defeat on 25 October, but one win from 12 is hard to ignore. Randers have the second-worst attack (12 goals). A tight, nervy draw looks most likely.

Nordsjælland v Midtjylland in Farum is the real test. Midtjylland also host OB in the cup on Thursday 29 October, so squad rotation may matter. Nordsjælland rarely lose (two defeats all season), which is why we would not be surprised by a draw.

SønderjyskE v FC København closes the round on Monday. It pits the leakiest defence against one of the two meanest, and København need the win to keep the pressure on top.

Betting Trends in the Danish Superliga

The Superliga is a high-scoring league this season. All 12 clubs have scored a combined 221 goals in 72 matches, an average of 3.07 goals per game. That is above the three-goal mark that usually makes over 2.5 goals worth a look.

  • Goals at the top: København (26), Horsens (23) and Midtjylland (24) score the most.
  • Goals at the bottom: SønderjyskE (17 scored, 29 conceded) and Lyngby (17 scored, 27 conceded) give their games plenty of goals at both ends.
  • The draw angle: AGF and Silkeborg have drawn six of 12, and OB and Nordsjælland five. Draws are common in mid-table games.
  • Low-scoring outlier: OB have scored only 11 and conceded 16, so their games run below the league average.

We did not find a reliable, verified source for over 2.5 hit rates by team, so we have left those figures out. Always compare the figures with a current table such as ChampSquads scores and fixtures before placing a bet.

Denmark 1st Division Prediction (Betinia Liga)

The second tier is now called the Betinia Liga, though many fans still search for the NordicBet Liga or the Denmark 1 Division. After 12 rounds, Hvidovre are top and unbeaten.

PosTeamPldPtsGD
1Hvidovre1228+11
2Vejle Boldklub1223+9
3FC Fredericia1220+10
4AB Gladsaxe1218+5
5Aarhus Fremad1215−1
6Hobro IK1215−7

Our 1st Division prediction: Hvidovre to finish top of the regular season. They have a five-point lead, and Vejle and Fredericia are the main threats. In round 13, Hvidovre travel to bottom side Esbjerg on Saturday 31 October, and Fredericia host AB the same day. Esbjerg won their first league game in 85 days on 24 October, so it is not a free win. The full table is on TV 2 Sport.

Searches for a Denmark 3rd Division prediction cover the lower national leagues. Data there is thin, so we do not publish picks for them.

Denmark Cup Prediction (Betano Pokalen)

The Danish Cup is at the fourth round, the last 16. Midtjylland host OB at MCH Arena on Thursday 29 October (19:30), and the quarter-final draw takes place after that game. Bookmakers price Midtjylland at around 1.61–1.64, an implied chance of about 57%. Our Denmark Cup prediction is a Midtjylland win, though rotation before Sunday’s trip to Farum could make it closer than the odds suggest.

Denmark National Team Predictions

Many searches mix the club league with the national team, such as Denmark vs England, Croatia, Serbia, Scotland, Australia or Tunisia. Denmark have no confirmed fixtures against any of those six as of 29 October. Their next two games, both in the UEFA Nations League under coach Brian Riemer, are:

  • Portugal v Denmark: Saturday 14 November 2026, 20:45, Braga.
  • Denmark v Norway: Tuesday 17 November 2026, 20:45, Parken, Copenhagen.

We will add a full Denmark prediction closer to the games. Fixtures are confirmed by UEFA. For international form across Europe, see our England vs Spain prediction and the World Cup 2026 qualifiers table.

How to Read Forebet-Style Denmark Predictions

Searches like Forebet Denmark 1 and Forebet Denmark 2 mean the top and second tiers. Prediction sites of this type show percentages for a home win (1), a draw (X) and an away win (2), and the outcome with the highest percentage becomes the tip. Read those numbers with three checks:

  • Compare with the odds. Decimal odds of 1.64 imply roughly a 61% chance before the bookmaker’s margin. If a model’s figure is close to the market’s, there is no edge.
  • Check the table date. A tip built before a midweek cup game will not reflect rotation or new injuries.
  • Treat “tomorrow” tips as drafts. Denmark league prediction tomorrow searches peak the night before games, when team news is still missing.

FAQ

Which team won the Denmark league?

AGF won the 2025/26 Danish Superliga, their first league title since 1986. They sealed it on 10 May 2026 with a 2–0 win at Brøndby, and Midtjylland finished second. FC København were the champions the season before, in 2024/25.

Who is the best Denmark player of all time?

Michael Laudrup is officially regarded as Denmark’s greatest player. In November 2006 a public vote run by DBU and TV 2 named him the best Danish footballer of all time, with 58% of the vote. His clubs included Juventus, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Ajax.

How good is the Denmark football team?

Denmark are a strong mid-ranking European side with a proud record. They won Euro 1992, beating Germany 2–0 in the final, and reached the Euro 2020 semi-finals, where England beat them 2–1 after extra time. They failed to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.

Which odds are best for BTTS?

There is no single best price. Value comes when the odds are bigger than the real chance suggests. Turn decimal odds into an implied probability by dividing 1 by the odds: 2.00 means 50% and 1.80 means about 56%. If your own estimate is higher than the implied figure, the price may be worth taking. Compare several bookmakers, because BTTS prices vary.
