Premier League Nominations Arsenal: Latest Shortlists
Nominations current as of 3 November 2026.
Arsenal have eight current players on the 2026 FIFPRO World 11 shortlists, four men and four women. That is the biggest award story for the club right now. The official FIFPRO finalists list and Arsenal.com both confirm the names below. The table separates global awards from Premier League awards and Arsenal’s own club awards, because those three are often mixed up.

Key Context
- Who votes: FIFPRO says the World 11 is the only global award decided only by professional footballers. 19,806 men’s players from 73 countries voted.
- Eligibility window: men’s performances from 4 August 2025 to 19 July 2026, with at least 30 official matches. Women needed 20 matches up to 16 August 2026.
- How the XI is picked: one goalkeeper, three defenders, three midfielders and three forwards with the most votes, plus the next best outfield player.
- Why Arsenal are everywhere: the nominations follow the 2025-26 Premier League title, the club’s first league crown in 22 years.
Katie McCabe is also a women’s finalist, but FIFPRO lists her as Arsenal/Chelsea because she joined Chelsea in the summer, so we do not count her as a current Arsenal nominee.

FIFPRO World 11 2026: Arsenal’s Men in Context
Raya is one of only three goalkeepers on the men’s list, alongside Thibaut Courtois and Emiliano Martínez. Gabriel and Saliba are two of eight defenders, with Virgil van Dijk, Pau Cubarsí, Achraf Hakimi, Nuno Mendes, Marc Cucurella and Dayot Upamecano. Rice faces the toughest fight among seven midfielders, including Jude Bellingham, Pedri, Vitinha and Bruno Fernandes.
Arsenal’s defence explains the votes: three of the club’s four men’s finalists are a goalkeeper or a centre-back from the title-winning back line. For the full title story, read our Arsenal breaking news hub, and for the wider global race see our Ballon d’Or 2026 winner report.
Arsenal Women on the FIFPRO Shortlist
Russo and Kelly are two of the eight women’s forwards, and Batlle and Fox are two of the eight defenders. Arsenal.com and BBC Sport both list them as finalists. FIFPRO lists Batlle as Barcelona/Arsenal, because she earned most of her votes at Barcelona before joining Arsenal.
Russo is the headline name of the four. She is also on the Women’s Ballon d’Or 2026 shortlist with team-mate Mariona Caldentey.

Ballon d’Or 2026: Six Arsenal Men’s Nominations
Arsenal received six men’s Ballon d’Or nominations, more than any other Premier League club, and three of them were on the main 30-man list. Gabriel, Rice and Saliba made that list, Raya was nominated for the Yashin Trophy, Arteta for Coach of the Year and Arsenal for Club of the Year, according to Arsenal.com and BBC Sport.
Raya finished second for the Yashin Trophy behind his Spain team-mate Unai Simón. That vote came from journalists, while the FIFPRO vote comes from players, so the two awards can produce different winners.
Premier League Player of the Season 2025-26: Arsenal’s Shortlist
Three Arsenal players made the eight-man EA SPORTS Player of the Season shortlist for 2025-26: Gabriel, Raya and Rice. The other nominees were Bruno Fernandes, Erling Haaland, Antoine Semenyo, Igor Thiago and Morgan Gibbs-White.
Fernandes won the EPL player of the season award, which fans also search as the EPL player of the year or premiership player of the year. He equalled the Premier League single-season record of 20 assists, shared with Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne. Arsenal still took a major end-of-season prize: Arteta was named Barclays Manager of the Season after ending the 22-year title wait.
| 2025-26 award | Arsenal nominee(s) | Winner |
|---|---|---|
| Player of the Season | Gabriel, Raya, Rice | Bruno Fernandes (Man Utd) |
| Manager of the Season | Mikel Arteta | Mikel Arteta (Arsenal) |
| PFA Players’ Player of the Year | Gabriel, Raya, Rice | Bruno Fernandes (Man Utd) |
The PFA top-six shortlist told the same story, with three Arsenal players again beaten by Fernandes. For more on United’s captain, see our Man Utd news page, and for City’s Golden Boot winner, our Man City next game guide.

Premier League Monthly Awards 2026-27: Arsenal Nominations
Arsenal have one Premier League Player of the Month nomination so far this season. Calafiori made the August 2026 shortlist, but Chelsea’s João Pedro won. No Arsenal player made the September shortlist, which Brighton’s Pascal Gross won.
Raya has done better in the Save of the Month vote. He had two of the five September nominations, a stop against Chelsea and a penalty save from Sunderland’s Enzo Le Fée, and the Premier League confirmed that the penalty save won. It was his fourth Save of the Month award.
Arsenal’s Own Player of the Month
Arsenal’s club award is a separate fan vote on Arsenal.com, not a Premier League award. October’s nominees are Rice, Ødegaard, Madueke and Konsa. September’s were Raya, Ødegaard, Bruno Guimarães and Konsa, and Ødegaard won it.
Premier League Table: Where Arsenal Stand Now
Arsenal lead the Premier League table after nine games with 24 points, three ahead of Manchester City. Their 1-0 win at Liverpool on the weekend sent them top. The Sky Sports league table and PLStats show the same Premier League standings:
| Pos | Team | Played | Goal difference | Points |

| 1 | Arsenal | 9 | +9 | 24 |
| 2 | Manchester City | 9 | +10 | 21 |
